How fricking worthless is Barry

That's a point earned (by Howard) today, not 2 points dropped. After last year, I'll take it.

I had a love hate relationship with Barry today
ETA: I'd still like to see more Besic than Barry and wouldn't even mind Cleverly as a DM box to box type player.

Everton will complete the signing of Ramiro Funes Mori after the defender finally received a work permit, according to the Mirror.
Everton were worried that the Argentinian wouldn’t receive clearance to play as he hasn’t seen much international recognition for his national side.
But with the revamped work permit rules, the Goodison Park hierarchy made a convincing case for Mori to ply his trade in England.
Everton’s interest in the 24-year-old had been known for quite some time and the fee between the Blues and River Plate had been agreed for almost a fortnight.
And now all the relevant paperwork has been finalised, the £6million move can finally be completed.
Funes Mori recently won the Copa Libertadores with River Plate and has been finding his feet on the international scene.
Roberto Martinez wants to do more business before the 6pm deadline and has reopened talks with Spurs for Aaron Lennon but the two clubs are still far apart in their valuation of the player.
Shakhtar Donetsk’s Bernard and Roma winger Juan Iturbe are also on Martinez’s radar, with the Catalonian desperate to bolster his attacking options.
Funes Mori deal finally going through.
Also read today that apparently we could still have a chance at Yarmolenko, just not in this transfer window. They won't sell while they are still in UCL.

I bet this is the stuff that makes the Board salivate.
"Just promise them we'll buy him next window!"
(everyone laughs)

Meanwhile, the Toffees are close to bringing winger Aaron Lennon, 28, back to Goodison Park from Tottenham in a £5m deal.

Supposedly Spurs want 9m for Lennon, which is hilarious. I say offer them 4 take it or leave it. We don't really need any more wingers we won't play, and Spurs certainly don't need the wages.

They've been asking that same price the whole window. You think at some point they'd have realized that no one would pay that

Looks like it'll be done for 4-4.5.
I like Lennon and I'm ok with the signing, it just really isn't needed and seems like it's just something to appease supporters.

Sky reporting we rejected 8m for Naisy. WTF

I really hope Lennon plays well at Everton. Loved watching him play for Spurs. And Everton is a club I have great respect for, very similar to Spurs. Good luck to him.
