Entertaining match. All in all, Spain's a better team and deserved the victory. It's really impressive how well drilled they are positionally even with their U-21 team.
It's also obvious that Italy is pretty loaded with impressive young talent, especially considering El Sharaawy, Balotelli and De Sciglio have been left off this roster for the full NT and Destro is still recovering from the injury. Need some depth at CB to develop even though the best two were missing: Juve's Marrone was injured and Roma's Romagnoli's is just 17 and didn't play.
Italy should be annoying multitudes by continuing to battle it out with Spain in the near future.
Also:
My favorite pitch invader was the little kid who simply ran out and hugged the Spanish RB.

looked out classed by Spain to me. Not enough composure or experience to absorb the type of pressure spain is going to dump on you.
