England’s dedication to conservative play doomed them. They had the skill to win, but not the vision.

England was the same team we saw all tournament. Awful coaching. Horrible starting lineups. Get a lead or equalize then set back and defend. They just didn't get bailed out by lady luck tonight. I don't know why anyone thought we'd see something different from a Southgate team.
Kane should never have started, any match. Walker has been getting burned all torunament. He left Trent on the bench outside of the first 2 matches and then brought him on late to take penalties. Southgate is a conservative , defensive minded, coach who's held back a talented group of players.
Also, City players are great under Pep and his system that he micro manages. They are all horrible during tournaments. KDB, Walker, Foden etc. They aren't great away from his system

Absolutely gutted for my English friends, but Spain were by far the better side. I was sick after the 2020 Euro, but not this one.
