Sidenote: Wow I never realized how narrow Chelsea's pitch is.

Less width means you don't need quite as big of a bus. Tricky Russians.

All the pitches are the same dimensions this year I think.

I could swear they changed the rules to where every pitch must be the same dimensions this year

Well, I saw you say "weren't good for their second". Which was false. We played well, or at least I thought we did.

I thought based on the amount of possession, and your usual standard of play, you weren't good. That doesn't mean awful. Just thought as a whole United are usually much, much better than that. Its a perplexing start to the season that I'm positive will be worked out in the next 2 games. United will run away with the title, I can absolutely assure you of that.

That loss affected you more than I thought.

Not really. Flukes happen, see Greece. It's going to be tragic when Chelsea go the way of Greece's economy though.

True.

It is the second game of the season...two new offensive pieces have to get merged into the system...the defense is ravaged by injury (again)...considering all that, I think it was a good game for United.

Once those two start playing more regularly with each other that team is going to a scary team.

Give Greece credit at least when their country is in the tank they aren't going to start trying to wipe out the rest of the world as part of their solution.

I'm not too worried about it tbh.

Would it be nice to have him so him and RVP could gel quicker? Yep.

But Welbeck, Chicharito, and Berba along with RVP will be fine. Luckily that is our deepest position.

How else are they going to survive in European play?

That was my main concern. And the fact that he's on my fantasy team.

LOL

So I just realized that Tony Hibbert didn't play. That means Luiz is slotted into my fantasy team from the bench.

All that arguing and Luiz ends up playing.
