Downloading Fifa from Origin for PC

Anybody download fifa from origina and play on their computer? I'm thinking about doing it so I downloaded the demo and played a little. I didn't think it was too bad once I adjusted the quality settings to improve the flow of the game. Just wanted to see if this was common or not around here.

This will be the first time that I buy it for PC.
Wrt the demo, the only big difference for me has been the decrease in load times, i.e., less time spent playing minigames.
I play with a controller. So, it's virtually the same to me elsewhere.

I've been playing the demo with the mouse and keyboard and its weird as shite. I will definitely have to buy a controller. Other than that everything is exactly the same as any other console (with the exception of games and loading faster and such).

I got 13 via Origin and have played it quite a bit. as was already mentioned, the load times are quite a bit better. I couldn't play with mouse/keyboard but a wired Xbox controller works perfectly, with no setup required.

So I could just get a wired Xbox controller from GameStop or something and that would work just fine?

Yeah
You can actually use a PS3 controller, as well. Just need to run third party software (freeware: motionjoy)

I've played mainly on Xbox so that would work better.
Only thing I'm worried about is in game speed quality/performance since my computer is about 5 years old now.

I just got a used wired controller from Gamestop and it's worked out great for me. That PC may definitely cause you some issues though.

I bought it for my PC this year and loved it. It looks a bit better and it plays more fluid in terms of physics. Little things, but you notice their absence when you go back to a console. You just have to tinker with it. Going back to Xbox/PS3 is tough once you're used to it.

I would buy it on PC, but my roommate is already getting it for 360.
How bad is it playing on kb/m?

It's pretty strange. You control your movement with the mouse and your speed is controlled by how far you move this target from your player. I definitely couldn't get use to it with having played Xbox for years

How much better are graphics than on 360? I'm tempted to impulse buy

I think there about the same. My computer is kind of old so I have to lower the quality so they gameplay doesn suck but when I has it set in the highest video quality it looked good.

I didn't really notice too much of a difference (even with the settings cranked up), but I don't typically notice these things unless there is a dramatic difference
Probably it's biggest advantage is that it releases at $39.99

I was hoping there was a bigger difference at 60-120fps over the 30 on 360...
Guess I'll stick to the ole box then!
