Borussia Dortmund showed no mercy in a charity match against a team of German Olympians on Saturday as they romped to a 17-0 victory at Signal Iduna Park.

A day after new coach Thomas Tuchel oversaw a 5-0 friendly victory over fifth-tier side Rhede, Dortmund put on a show against 'Team Gold' in front of a crowd of 41,200 - as €250,000 was raised for Deutsche Sporthilfe.

Glad to see they didn't give up anything cheap.

I can only hope donations were based on how many goals Dortmund could score.

Wait, so they were playing Olympians from other sports? WTF was the point of that?

Have you seriously never heard of Soccer Aid?

It's celebrities and former pros from England and The Rest of the World. The 2010 match was incredible and came down to penalties.

LINK

That's more or less what Dortmund was doing.

Check out the penalty shoot out. It was great. It's linked in my post.

Good shootout, but probably would have been more entertaining if I knew more than 3 of the shooters (Mike Myers, Gordon Ramsay, and Woody Harrelson).

Not as good as the 31-0 and 36-0 scores we've seen in the Estonian Cup.
