Does Lynden Gooch come into the USMNT discussion now or too early?

He made his first team debut two days ago in the english league cup and did well. This is very little compared to our other current forwards, but with Bobby Wood (Second Division), Terrance Boyd (Second Division) and Jordan Morris (college) all getting minutes already, would it be far fetched to give gooch a call up to a USMNT camp at least?
I know I am jumping the gun on Gooch, but it would be nice to have more options at forward.

Too early, but wouldn't be too shocked to see him make the U23 Olympic qualifying roster.

We have a lot of promising Forwards in that age group. It will just depend on who has the hot hand when NT games roll around.

Pump the brakes. Let's see what he can do with more professional appearances. If he starts to supplant Defoe then obviously he deserves a look. I'm not going to get too excited over a substitute appearance in a cup match against a league two team. I mean come on guys that's like SPL level. We have standards here.

He should start to make the bench more for league games. Short is likely not going to spend more and we are hoping to unload some of the crap strikers like Fletcher back to Scotland.

They need to buy Mané from Southampton, play him with Gooch up top, and hire a Spanish announcer to say "Gooch y Mané".
