what difference does what shirt he was wearing make?

he's not a child. his coaches and teammates are not directly responsible from preventing him from biting someone.

i cannot believe this is actually a discussion.

his ban or punishment should be all competitions, regardless of the length.

There is no precedent for this. It goes well beyond the "violent conduct" charge.

This is a habitual problem from an individual who refuses to even admit it's bad behavior.

I'm guessing the remainder of the tournament and maybe a few more if they get knocked out immediately...

I agree that the ban should only apply to international games... missing the knock out rounds of a WC is huge...

Absolutely. Liverpool should be made to play with ten men for the entire upcoming season.

He should be banned from Uruguay and Liverpool until 1/1/2015... I wont hold the racism against him bc it cant be proven, but this is the third time he's bit someone. This should be his last chance. Once more and he's gone for life

I wouldn't want to play on the same field as him. He's clearly shown a pattern with his biting. Biting is one of the filthiest things you can do to another person. If Chiellini gets some nasty arse infection what then?

Biting is disgusting. Suarez is disgusting. Professional athletes shouldn't have to play on the same field as a known biter.
