He didn´t play that much.....
32 games. He was the second leading goal-scorer (13) for the La Liga champions and UCL runners-up.

Who wouldn't be able to cut it in Europe?
Is this the MLS all star XI for this season?
Yes, without a doubt all could play somewhere, but you´ve got to be more specific.
Hey, I´m not poopooing, but Europe can mean a lot of things (top league cellar dweller/relegation fodder, mid league important side, etc...).

Are you sure Raúl García didn´t equal or surpass this number?

Defending Villa will make MLS defenders better, which will make MLS attackers better, all of which helps the USMNT and the MLS. I will take every one of these stars that wants to come.

There's one thing I like to ask when a new MLS signing is in question: Does he improve the quality of the league?
Well, David Villa most definitely improves the quality of the league. in this case it is both talent-wise and marketing-wise.
I'm a fan of this. Huge fan actually.

Thats awful logic, getting abused by Villa will not make them better. Training and player development as a whole will improve those things.

Yep, 2 of the 11. And both are still playing for their national team and one of them is on his way to Brazil.

Neither national team is particularly good

And David Villa is not world class.
That phrase is thrown about far far too much. If he was world class he wouldnt have been sold by Barca for 6mil

He used to be, but he clearly was in a decline by Barca standards.
