Crazy how Czech have the bulk of possession but are so undisciplined in defense, lack of spatial awareness, that they are getting caught on the counter to such a degree.
I will say this though, when Russia is on attack, holy shite do they commit forward. They just sprint forward with numbers really high up the pitch.

The entire left flank of Czech is just god awful it seems. Their left side is unable to keep up with the Russian players or pick up and stay with their mark appropriately. Which is odd since the Czech's have only 1 man up top and a crowded midfield.
Russia is just much quicker and doesn't waste any horizontal passes going forward.

It was the one that Dzagoev missed that was so amazing. Arshavin gets the ball in his half, makes one pass to the striker who then squares it to Dzagoev and there was no one even remotely close to him.

Remember this is the Dutch, the recent WC is an anomaly. Pull a Dutch and completely bomb/choke at a tournament. Im pulling for them to win it this year, but I wouldn't put it past them to not live up to expectations.
