I don't think their season is going on at that time but maybe an international game.

was worried about that as I missed last year when in Europe. I would really like to see a match but traveling during he winter months is hard for me.

There may be some testimonials and friendlies at that time.

Best bet is the Copa del Rey

Year this year I went to Italy because they advertised a friendly then when I arrived it was a U16 team that was participating which ruined it for me.

I would love to watch and actual match but outside of going August to April I may be out of luck.... I could travel during Christmas I guess since I have 2 weeks off but that may be difficult.

Ya, when I was in Barcelona La Liga was on their Christmas/New Year break.

SO, I got Barcelona vs Real Madrid basketball tickets instead.

It was awesome

Yes, Spain is the best basketball league in Europe. Followed by Greece.

The closest I got to Greek basketball was when some Euro team popped into the club I was in on Rhodes.

That was the end of everybody's chances that wasn't on the team

Yea and I want to go earlier because last summer Europe was extremely hot, not south La hot but still.
I want to watch a European soccer match in one of these stadiums but it seems like it won't happen unless I go for Christmas or Easter.

Forgot that the Spanish Segunda Division will still be going on. I don't know how interested you'd be in that, though.

La Liga is actually ending early this year due to Euro 2016. You would have been okay in Spain last year.
