Yeah, but you hardly ever see that. Like they said, the next game against Portugal will only be in a 45k stadium.

Well, Guus Hiddink just made a shrinkage joke on live television watched by millions. I've seen it all.

Just said that the last time Russia hosted Portugal in 2012 WC Qualifier, there were 75k in attendance.
I'm not sure we've had anything close to that.

I seem to remember Legion Field being packed in 1996 when we played Argentina in the Olympics.

The U.S. has had 90K+ crowds plenty of times at the Rose Bowl.

Portugal really struggling so far. Ronaldo's first touch came in the 17th minute.

You were saying?

Well nevermind. VAR says he was offside.

Not sure I'm a fan of the VAR. I'm skeptical of change. Might end up taking some of the excitement out of goals.

LOL.

That corner kick went out of play without even touching anyone. Don't see that from professionals too often.

All the VAR reviews I've seen so far have been about 30 seconds or less. That's reasonable, and getting the call right is the most important thing.

Nice goal by Portugal as I type this.

Eyes in the back of his head, it was beautiful. I hope they score 10 more goals.

Ronaldo with the sick backheel. Too bad Quaresma couldn't bury it.
