Clint Dempsey Is an Intractable a-hole
Great article, this. What wonderful memories for our beloved Yanks, USMNT, and for Fulham. Some fans have never forgiven him for his last moments in West London, after Liverpool had tapped him up and released the story that he'd signed for them, which was false, but the Tottenham move was imminent. He didn't play a couple matches for FFC, and people remember it.
I remember his hand being injured in the Cup final, but didn't remember why. Thanks to Danny Murphy for that story.
