I was wondering this as well. What is the official language of UEFA?

What do the CONCACAF officials speak?

So if the best ref in the world can't speak English, he can't ref these games?

pretty sure its a requirement for them to ref international matches when the teams speak different languages.

English is usually spoken by Europeans when they cant understand each other. Lets say b/w a German and Spaniard.

I always thought English was the international language of the sport as a whole. Could be wrong, but that's what I've always been told.
