Was fun to see some of these young guys play. The 2 "Marckos" impressed me the most.
I haven't been sold on Marin but he was really creating all kinds of defensive breakdowns tonight and, for a 19 year old playing his first match in top flight football ever, Verratti showed more than a few glimpses of why he's being labelled as the next star DLP in the Pirlo mold.

1st half terrible, once JT came on of course the game changed. His mere presence lifts everyone around him. Ramires and Piazon had some nice chemistry down that right side. Marin showed flashes. We need Torres to be ready and we need a right back desperately.

Marin is extremely talented, he just has a problem with maintaining consistency. If he ever finds that, then Chelsea got a steal.

Hard to really judge too much from two pre-season friendlies but he definitely looks dangerous with the ball. Gonna be hard for him to crack the first XI when Mata comes back though.
