It's just counter productive for them to smash talk and deride the level of play, especially since it's on its way up.

It has improved. Still a LONG way to go. Chelsea is no where near full squad and pretty much doing as they please. If you don't see room for major improvement, the MLS is doomed.

Somebody convince Kroenke to bring Arsenal to the states so I can root against some damn MLS teams!

It's fun. I like the Sounders more than my EPL team, so if they ever play Spurs, I'll be pulling for Seattle.

Nobody said anything about Chelsea being worse than MLS or Seattle. It was funny once Seattle equalized after the Chelsea fanboys were talking of a 13-1 game. Then once Chelsea gets a lead again, all of a sudden MLS is "garbage" and MLS fans "think it's the second best league in the world."

I would root for Arsenal over most MLS teams. I would also be satisfied if an MLS team beat or drew with any European team (New York Red Bulls 2011 Emirates Cup Champs ), because the it's good for the league.

I hope the Sounders don't put in their 3rd and 4th string players like they did last season against ManU. That led to disaster.

Don't act as if this is a bunch of scrubs out there..

They could buy the sounders franchise with the transfer fees from the back line alone.

They've got the goals, but since the opening couple of minutes, it's been against the run of play.

Nobody in MLS would have an answer for Lukkaku or Hazard. Seattle has played better soccer to this point, Chelsea just has much better players, even the scrubs.

I chuckled at your prediction, and definitely not mad at you. Nor have any of my posts been directed at you.

Because I decided to start keeping up with soccer a few days before the 2009 MLS season started and I picked the expansion team to pull for and they have been my fav ever since.

They have over ten times the payroll. I would hope they would be playing like this.

There's improvement left, absolutely. As soccer here grows, the league will grow. Probably won't ever be the level of EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, or Ligue 1...but no one should realistically expect that.

When I type "gm" my phone autocorrects to GM.

How does that make you feel?

See, it's shite like that Bho.

The individual play of Marin, Hazard and Lukawhatever has been better than anything the sounders have produced, but the grand total is very close.
