We're implementing one of the most complex systems in the world, and we gave our manager almost no time in advance to prep. He missed the start of training. He couldn't assess the squad properly because it's a World Cup year. Two of the most talented players in the squad probably want out. We've only brought in one player and the rest of the guys are hit or miss on if they'll fit playing this way.
The state we're in is largely because of some questionable decisions at the top. I'm just hoping Sarri gets a little more leniency than most managers because I don't expect the results to be great initially. There's a reason Sarri joked with ADL that Napoli would lose their first 7 matches.

That tweet going around about the clubs transfers the past few years is so depressing. And theres been over 120m euros spent on STs since 2016 and we still dont have a legit starter.
Its astounding how many players were bought with injuries. Rudi/Emerson/Barkley both all coming off knee ops. Drinkwater was busted and then further busted. Baka wasnt 100% when he came in. Its nuts.

Man, I can't wait to be rid of Thibaut. I hope we just make him rot in the reserve team for a year. That would make me happier than 30 mil.

I have no idea if Kepa is good or not. I guess being the spanish #2 behind De Gea is a good sign.

Kovacic coming the other way on loan confirmed. I've seen multiple people with blue checks saying there's no option to buy and a few saying there is. Guess we'll have to wait on that.

Which is why it’s troubling we’re letting Batman go. Morata is shite, there’s no way around it, dude just isn’t cut out for either this league or this stage I dunno which. Giroud is a 65-75th minute sub, a fantastic but aging one.
Either hazard and Willian need to seriously turn up the scoring or morata needs to tap into a killer attacking mentality. That midfield is pretty insane though.
