I'm cool with any trio of Michy-Girourd-Higuain-Morata

He also had a better first season in the league than drogba did. I understand the frustration watching him miss 1v1s and going down so easily, i get upset too. I think he is much better than his showing last season.

he also played more games than Drogba. you can compare Torres first full year numbers to both as well. comparisons can go any number of ways.

id be fine accepting Morata needed a year to adjust, that happens, certainly. also perhaps there's truth to his back injury putting him off after Jan and being troubled by his friend dying. i get all that. perhaps Conte was the wrong kind of man-manager to get the best out of him.

but going into the new season banking on Morata, Bats, and Giroud again troubles me.

eta: i do think if anyone can get Morata playing as fee his suggests, it would be a manager like Sarri.

Rather have Luiz and Zouma than either of those CBs

Looks about right. Boy do we need some winger depth though.

Also curious to see how Luiz fits in. Sarri likes guys good on the ball and boy do we know Luiz loves being on the ball. For better or for worse

So apparently Atleti are seriously going after Giroud. Also, Giroud might be shaving his hair off. Bald Giroud would be sad.

This whole Sarri situation has been insane. Never a dull fricking moment.

Ive been replaying those short, one-touch practice clips on twitter like a junkie.

Jorginho looked incredible. Great signing. Hold onto hazard and Kante and we have a world class midfield

that 3rd MF spot is interesting. Barkley, Cesc, and RLC all have legit concerns in claiming that "hamsik" role. none really jump out as great two-way players either. thats why i really think Golovin needs to happen. hes a true box2box player and is a great bargain in relation to his potential.

ive read that Barkley looked decent today, but hes such a shite head with the ball that RLC should jump him in the lineup. Baka adds zero dynamism and really just needs to be used to shut down games. Sarri wont want to play to DMs like Baka and Ngolo together, unless there's a hidden element to Bakayoko's game that we all havent seen yet.

Gotta sign mclovin. He would thrive under Sarri-ball. If all these signings happen I’ll be back to being actually excited for the season.

If we actually missed the chance to get 65 million for Willian I will be so unbelievably angry.

looks like Barca is hijacking the Malcolm deal to Roma, so im guessing they got tired of us saying no.

I’m definitely bandwagoning you guys. Chelsea seems like they’re going to be entertaining as hell.

What exactly are yall’s expectations? Pushing for that last CL spot and just playing entertaining football?

It's hard to say. When we have no expectations, we seem to do well. I could see us winning the league or being fun and finishing 6th.

A lot will depend on the remainder of the transfer window. Could lose one of or a combination of Hazard, Kante and Courtois. Then there's the issue of not having a clear option at striker right now.
