Even though we've gotten a lot softer as a squad since the legends left we proved we can still boss these figs around physically and mentally. F em, let's eat.

All we have to do is go to City and get some points, no big deal

We took off hazard again. I honestly think conte is trying to get sacked and can't figure out why he's not. Down a goal we pull Willian and put in giroud in the 78th. Which he's a great sub but going over hour and half with no changes getting absolutely murdered is unacceptable. I actually don't blame hazard one fricking bit if he leaves us. I want him to excel.

Does Real take off Ronaldo if they're down in the 87th? How about Messi with Barca? No. Why the frick would you take him off? He left Moses and Danny frickface drinkjizz on.

We played like we are fricking Brighton and Hovd or something just trying not to get embarrassed. Zero effort was made to win that game even after going down. Probably the most shameful performance I’ve seen in 12 years of watching this team

Hello everybody. Read an excellent column in the NY Times about Chelsea.

quote:

MANCHESTER, England — On the sideline, in the pouring rain, Antonio Conte did not look much like a manager who supposedly no longer cares, who has apparently long since accepted that his time at Chelsea is nearly over. He shouted and he bawled, at his players and at the officials, at the situation and at the gods. If it is an act, it is a good one.

On the field, meanwhile, Chelsea’s players did not look as if they were harboring dark thoughts of rebellion. They might have struggled to lay a glove on Manchester City; they might have slipped, without much of a whimper, to a dour 1-0 defeat, but they made for strange revolutionaries.

They doggedly remained in shape. They determinedly tracked their runners. They did all they could not to be mesmerized, as so many have been this season, by the swirling patterns City can paint; they closed the space and they gritted their teeth. They stuck to the tasks Conte had given them. Prospective mutineers tend not to follow orders so well.

Also, Eden is giving concerning interviews. I really think he wants out, and I can't blame him.

quote:

Hazard was isolated throughout and was substituted near the end. Afterwards he told the Belgian newspaper HLN: “When you leave the pitch you have the impression that you’ve ran [a lot], but that you haven’t played a game of football. That’s a pity. We could have played on for three hours, and I [still] wouldn’t touch a ball. It went a bit better only at the end: in the last 10-15 minutes we had more possession. But we should have tried to do that all game.”

He’s gone probably. I’ll be his biggest fan unless we play whoever he goes to. He’s given a lot to this club.

Also we could probably buy like 3 good players with what we get for him.

Do you really trust this club to reinvest that money on elite talent? I don't.

We’re due for a big purchase.i wouldn’t be surprised either way anymore. We should bestarting morata. We should be subbing giroud on for morata if we’re ahead. Emerson should be playing. Willian and hazard should be playing at the same time.

You mean you haven't been impressed with the recent signings like Bakayoko, Rudiger, Drinkwater, and Barkley?

Drink water hasn’t been a completely awful player like bakayoko, but yes these have been extremely underwhelming

Yea normally I would turn on him, but I don't even blame him.

Can't wait to buy three average midfielders from mid table EPL clubs to replace him.

He's played a bit, but he looks really off the pace. He hasn't played in about 9 months. Chelsea was one of the worst places he could've gone to get the regular minutes he needed.

Right, he's a solid mid table level midfielder which was obvious to anyone all along. If we are supposed to be competing for titles signings like this are a slap in the face.

Drinkwater's role for us should be cup matches and coming on for an attacker late in the game to see the match out. The fact we are counting on him is pretty sad.
