As a City fan, I feel for Ryne and his delayed-game thread right now knowing what the match has in store for him.

Wonder how many uninterrupted posts he will rack up in that thread

Will there be a replay of the city real game tonight?

Sorry if already asked and answered.

I didn't get to watch until the 55th and Essien came off soon after. How did he look? Better than Mikel?

He looked good actually. While he was on the pitch, RM had over 70% possession. He and Xabi did a good job clogging the middle and keeping possession. City looked so bad the first half because they simply could not get possession.

He came off in the 2nd half and RM immediately gave up a counter attack. Obviously not all because Essien wasn't on the pitch, but it definitely played a part. Once he went off, the possession went back to almost 50/50.

On the attack Essien looked a little lost/got in the way a few times.. but he more than made up for it in possession and defense.

So he contributed something? Yep, definitely more than Mikel 90% of the time. Can't believe we let him go with Mikel (pointless), Lamps (aging), and Romeu (does he still exist) our only options there.

Can someone explain the DirecTV Champions League thing? Does it cost extra? Do I need Fox Soccer? I have DirecTV at home and I was wondering for games over breaks.

Also, is there anywhere to watch replays? I know what happens, but I would definitely like to see CR7 put away the winner in stoppage time.

You get five matches a day on UEFA channels. There's a thing called UEFA Mix (Channel 480) that has those five in split screen.

Comes standard.

Do I need Fox Soccer?

If you want to watch the one game on Fox Soccer. Today it was City vs. Real.

The other two games are on Fox Soccer Plus and your local Fox Sports affiliate (or at least, that's where they were today). Fox Soccer Plus is free right now, don't know how long that will run.

Fox Soccer Plus replayed City vs. Real right after it got done. The UEFA channels don't do replays.

I have DirecTV to go on my computer, so maybe I can get it that way. This would be so sick. They are also doing this for Europa FWIW. It is on channels 480-489 as a heads-up.

DirecTV is the cream of the crop when it comes to sports.
