Cameron Carter-Vickers ties to LSU

I know he’s not on this World Cup team (would have rather him than Miles Robinson).
However, seeing as he’s recently been on the shortlist and called up multiple times, as well as being on the last World Cup squad, I thought it was interesting that he’s the son of former LSU and Denver Nuggets basketball player Howard Carter from the early 1980’s.

This is why Baton Rouge had a billboard with a hometown player as in 2022, when he was on the roster.

I didn’t know that. I haven’t lived in Baton Rouge in over 30 years
