I don't know if anyone has listened to this, but its Benny Feilhaber, Sal Zizzo (throwback to the Benny Feilhaber Show) and Ike Opara interviewing pretty much everyone in soccer.

I've listened to a few episodes and a couple of things I've learned, Nagbe is high 24/7, Tyler Adams is a psychopath in the best possible way, Mo Edu has some unspeakable dirt on Benny about something that happened one night at a club in the lead-up to the 2010 World Cup and Benny still hates the frick out of Jurgen.

It's great.

The Tyler Adams 2 parter for sure.

I'm actually shocked how insane he is.

Insane in what way? What’s the deal with Nagbe? Probably the same issue Brek Shea had.

God damn it has 442 ratings and a perfect 5 star rating. I heard Benny talking about some of his experiences regarding the 2010 World Cup, playing in Europe, Jurgen, etc on a Sam’s army podcast that was pretty great. He talked about his show a bit too. I love his chemistry with Sal. Downloading now. Thanks.

Ike told a story of how one time when SKC and NYRB were playing each other, Adams was barking at him during the match. And not barking as in talking shite, barking as in literally barking like a dog.

Adams and Sal were teammates at NYRB under Jesse Marsch and had some good stories about both in the Adams episodes.

He's the chillest motherfricker in his episode and they asked him multiple times if he would play for the USMNT again and he was basically like "nah, I don't feel like playing on a shite field in El Salvador while leaving my family."

Listening to the Bruce Arena episode now and, regardless of your current feelings on Bruce, listening to him talk about the small differences between the 2002, 06 and the failed 2017 team is awesome insight.

Not to basically be a walking advertisement for this thing, but I've been binging this and the Alan Gordon episode is fantastic just for his Steve Lenhart story.

Also, apparently Matt Besler would organize some raging parties both at SKC and his time at Notre Dame. Never would've thought that.

ETA: In the Rob Stone episode, he said that he thinks it's going to come out "sooner rather than later" just how fricked up the Jurgen tenure was. In Nagbe's episode, he said that Jurgen never told them tactically how to play.

None of that about Jurgen is news though. Play nasty was the extent of his tactical instruction.

I’m still amazed at how many people defend that guy.

Will Ferrell episode was great btw. Enjoyed Tyler Adams. Listening to Nagbe now. Looking forward to the Vela episode.

It’s only a bad managerial style once it stops working. Jurgen’s approach worked for a good while and like every other manager the message grew stale.

He was a Wondo missed sitter away from making the quarterfinals in his one World Cup which would have been a miracle job if someone said that it was going to happen before the tournament.

He has sucked everywhere he has coached and burned bridges with players and staff. It’s a pretty consistent theme.
