In my opinion, Dempsey really doesn't fit Roma's needs at all.

We'll already have an attacking trident at times made up of three players that are all better playing centrally in Osvaldo, Totti and Destro.

Roma moved Bojan mainly because Nicolas Lopez impressed so much this summer and when you throw in Lamela there's just no minutes for another forward.

I'm sorry to see Bojan go--really liked him as a player and more so seems like a great kid--however he wasn't going to play as much as he can elsewhere. I hate that we dealt him to Milan but it's supposedly because we still owed them a large part of the Borriello transfer to be paid this window that they took off the books.


If we have any money left to spend (which I doubt) I pray it's for a center back.
