The road goal rule is just that in the event of a tie, whoever has the most road goals wins the tie.

All road goals are counted as two in the event of an aggregate tie.

No. They count up all the goals and if there is a tie after regulation, they use the away goals as a tiebreaker.

There is no rule that makes one goal two in the UCL.

If thats what you wan to see it as . A simple way to understand is that if both teams are tied on aggregate, the team with more away goals advances.

Nope, it doesn't work like that.

Away goals are simply a tiebreaker.
