He had to have ankle surgery right after the World Cup, didn't start playing again until late October.

I'm more than supportive of Bacon staying in the Eredivisie for the foreseeable future. We don't need him to tear it up for AZ only to prove his lack of preparation in a bigger league like someone else we know.
