At what point would yellow cards from past games be cleared in Copa America?

I think the rule is they never clear but you can't miss the final because of yellow accumulation. So essential after the quarters.

I just realized we are paired with group d winner which means we get Argentina in the semi finals if we make it.
Being honest though, I'd rather lose to Argentina in the semis than to Mexico in the final.

Hoping for Venezuela to pull of a shock of all shocks and beat Mexico to win that group, and forcing Mexico to play Argentina on our side of the bracket.
