Maybe I'm crazy but I don't feel too bad about this match. We never had a chance last year in the 2nd leg with our injuries. First leg we were starting Diaby and Bendtner while Arshavin and Gallas got hurt during the game. Barca is a better team but we're much improved from last year's match.

I'm not expecting to make the next round but we actually have a chance unlike last year.

If the Gunners have the lead Sagna will be back. Also Nasri will be ready. The beautiful game in all its glory.

ETA: Second leg Arsenal could also have The Verminator back. Please football Gods.

If Bayern doesn't beat Inter in this tie, I'm going to strangle an infant.

I'm going to guess the infant will be Italian too, right?

Also remember that Barca have only dropped 2 points on the road the entire season.

I expect much the same as last year to be honest.

Don't bring reality into this thread. I have a dream.

Well the reality last year is that we were playing with a beat up team. Our squad this year is much healthier. We'll see if that actually translates into anything on the pitch.

I agree. They play the games for a reason. Have you cancelled your interview yet?

I didnt mean to sound smug or anything, in fact I'm a little more anxious this year than I was last year.

No team from continental Europe has won away at Arsenal in the Champions League since Inter beat the Gunners 3-0 in September 2003.

There have been red cards in three of the five matches between Barcelona and Arsenal.

Nasri in the squad, but no confirmation from Wenger that he is fit enough to start.

Zonal Marking preview

I have tunnel vision right now. I won't be able to think straight till tomorrow afternoon.

Nasri tweeted he was fully fit. Wonder what his involvement will be. Rumors I read this AM said Wenger would give him the start...

And no glass, still have the interview. Trying to figure my gameplan for watching tomorrow.
