Is it too early for this thread? No.

Up the Gunners!

AW said Nasri is physically fit for the match but I don't think he will start though. He probably will come off the bench.

I hope for a respectable showing, but we won't play defensive enough to beat them.

me too, but I wouldn't want to risk him if he's anything but 90% healthy or better. arsene agrees

I'm hoping we can pounce on the roadblock Gijon setup, but I expect Busquets, Abidal, and Pedro to play against us. They didn't in their recent draw. I think our success hinges on, in order of importance. 1. Szczesny 2. Eboue 3. Wilshere.

Chesney needs to have impeccable reflexes. I still think he's been untested and not called upon to save a game for us. Eboue hasn't been great like we might have expected as Sagna's backup. Wilshere needs to be able to psychologically cope with playing the biggest game of his career. I have faith in everyone else that they can and will perform well.

RVP will be the difference, he's got his killer instinct back and our D is leaps and bounds better that the D with tweety the last time we faced them.

I have a feeling we will beat them this time around..

I can't wait for this match. It really is a must win. Going to the Nou Camp needing a win is an almost impossible task.

RVP, cesc and theo need to be effective but who else expects shava to rip through barca's puyol-less defence?

eboue really needs to be pumped up to man mark villa while wilshere needs to shut down xavi. there is no need to park the bus against barcelona as we will never succeed with that strategy.

but with nasri, chamakh and bendtner on the bench, i think we have a very effective back up plan incase things arent changing at the hour mark.

I agree. This is the match up that is concerning me. I have great confidence in Sagna, Eboue is going to have to be lights out.

Prediction: 0-2 Barca. Daveeeeed "Satan" Veeeyuh scores twice.

What I want to happen (purely for comedy): 0-3 Barca. Cesc scores an own goal. Wenger gets 5 match touchline ban. Xavi scores in the 90' and, in celebration, places a Barca top on Cesc.

Why do all Celtic fans hate Arsenal? It is so obvious at Finn's. Any background?

Number of reasons, but the most recent offense was Eduardo last season.

If the Gunners can take the lead to the Nou Camp we might actually see the gunners put ten men behind the ball. Shocking yes, practical of course.

as horrible as a fan of the game that would make me...i would have no hard feelings about it. i blame it on my weak constitution of not being able to handle 4 clasicos in a month span (you KNOW we would draw them if we get passed the boogiemen). that and being so excited after last season for the gunners to get through!

I can't see it. We aren't disciplined enough to do that. We'd definitely go heavy on the 4-5-1 though. Diaby, Song, Denilson might all play. Chamakh up top to hold up the ball. Maybe would be more defensive than normal, but we aren't set up to pull a Man City. We'd get crushed if we tried it.

This is a big game for Koscielny. I have faith in Djourou. Kos however...I'm afraid of a mistimed challenge...
