Everyone on the pitch for Arsenal will have a long PL career. Inexperience doesn't mean these kids aren't talented.

definitely not saying that at all, but together, right now, where they are in the progression of this squad, they aren't up to a EPL squad. I have no doubt that a lot of these players will become great players

accept that Liverpool were almost outplayed by a league one squad today

Liverpool have been the better side by miles today and while that says nothing, it's still true. Very little in the final third, but even with that they've been the better team in all areas.

A league one squad with arshavin, nasri, van persie, sagna, vermaelon. Pretty damn good league one squad.

Only hope here for Arsenal is a silly PK or set play(well RVP doesn't really convert free kicks, so corner I guess )

Not really. From about 30 minutes in until frimpong was sent off the game was pretty even. Agree on the players being talented but young. If this game was played in 2014 arsenal would probably win by two goals

Was there ever a doubt I didn't want the win? I just didn't want it off of that goal.
This is silly to me. If I was pulling for a team and the opponent's GK somehow accidentally turned around and threw it in his own goal, I'd be ecstatic and happily accept the goal.

What a poor poor shot. Atleast get it on target Meireles.

I agree, 'Pool hasn't been outplayed by any stretch of the imagination, their finishing and front have let them down. Carroll seems to clog up the formation, always offsides, can't do much with his feet. Suarez is going to carry a lot of the weight for this team, as does Silva for City. They both need the creativity.

Lol what?

Guess you weren't watching the 20 minute span just before Frimpong got sent off.

Game has been even and ugly. No creativity from Pool, and just poor execution from Arsenal.

Only because they haven't played together. Also Samir Nasri is really shite in the middle, though he played well today. Because everyone has been bred in the Arsenal style, plugging and playing is more of an option than some other teams.

Clearly very different fans. I don't want to beat a 10 man hurt Arsenal squad during their lowest point in recent history on an own goal. It just doesn't feel good.

for the record, I'm fine with Nasri staying with the Gooners. I'm not a big fan, I do however like that vid of him as a kid.

Lansbury doesn't want to finish this game with 10 men. 9 or nothing for Arsenal

The guy will take the win hes not saying that. I think hes just saying liverpool already got alot of luck by getting to play arsenal with theri squad in such disarray. Then kocieslny gets hurt, frimpong gets a red card, and it still takes a really lucky own goal on a missed offsides call to score.
