I guess I find it strange our players come with a caveat. Yeah but can they do it in the premier league?
Both with Zubimendi and Gyokeres.
Well ekitike is a poor finisher. Guy is very good skill wise but has had one decent season scoring 15 goals. No guarantee he’s going to even get that next season.
IMO, we bought the best striker in the market.

Interestingly, Delap and Gyökeres are the only players on our Most Wanted list that have Carrying as their superpower. When considering this alongside their size, speed and verticality, you begin to build an image of a human Battering Ram - the more colourful description of the Power Forward. For further context, Gyökeres has the highest Carrying Attribute Score of any player on the Gemini database and the highest Power Forward score of any player tagged as that Archetype in the app. He is the undisputed Poster Boy.

If tweet fails to load, click here. He might be a bad finisher on paper, but he scores goals and is a good creator. Went for 22/12 G/A this year and goes into a team with quality all over
We’ll see how it shakes out, but he’s going to thrive at Liverpool, I have very few doubts about that

Noni official.
But I just heard someone today say Zubimendi is going to need time to bed in.
Im just saying we seem like the only club who has players from these leagues that needs time to adapt.
But Liverpool is going to bring in several new players, some into the first team, and win the league. None of them need time to adapt.
If Zubimendi signed for liverpool they would be saying what a great player he is and that Liverpool will win the league. But with Arsenal it is, ooh idk, can he adjust to the league?

quote:lots of people have shite opinions. He’s with the team for the whole preseason and I expect him to hit the ground running. He’s a very intelligent and experienced player so should transition easily

That's my thinking. Zubi specifically will have been at the club for over a month by the time we play United.
The guy plays midfield for team Spain, you can't be a shite player and play midfield for Spain. I think he's going to end up being one of the better signings.

Ethan Nwaneri signs a 5 year deal. This is huge for the club.
