Liverpool have resumed search for lead medic to succeed Andrew Massey after late change of heart by Gary O’Driscoll sees him stay at Arsenal. #LFC academy doctor Jim Moxon filling in on interim basis, coup for #AFC following Arteta/Edu pleas @TheAthleticUK

Ok so this is kind of a (not so) humble brag but I wrote a paper with Massey on how to manage the recovery of soccer athletes with a congested fixture schedule. Haven’t found a publisher yet though.

I didn't get a chance to watch the documentary. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Didn’t know if any of y’all have seen, but the last couple of days we have been linked with James Rodriguez. Would be a underrated transfer if we can get him at a low value.

I'm not really too positive with transfers. We have asked the players to take a pay cut instead of deferring. Probably meaning we are strapped for cash because of our poor transfers and the real possibility of not being in Europe at all.

Thomas would’ve been perfect when Wenger still needed his CDM. He still will be a good fit

Interesting one with Luiz. His deal with Arsenal was for one-year with an option of a second. That hasn't been taken up yet. You'd assume it would, given the way Arteta used him. But Mari plays in his position and Arteta really wanted a left footed CB in his defence.
I'm all for not bringing him back. Dude is a PK waiting to happen every game.

I agree. We do need another CB to replace him with in the summer window, somehow. Our finances have been in question before the virus. No telling what we’ll be looking like going forward. Rumors are they are looking to deal Sokartis, Holding, and Mustafi. Hope they loan out Holding, I can still see a future with him.

Hopefully everyone is managing through this mess of the past few months.

Sir Chips Keswick has retired from his role as Arsenal chairman.

Board going forward will be Stan, Josh, Ken Friar and Lord Harris.

No plans to appoint a replacement chairman given Arsenal is now a private company.

is this a good thing or a bad thing?
one less non-kroenke voice in the room makes me nervous.

To be determined. Anything Kroenke is negative.
