Kolasinac and Henrihk are such negatives combined. They can’t do anything.
Guendozi and Ceballos were fantastic. We need Tierney ASAP.

Mikhi was SO poor today.... had some great through balls played to him and he wasted great opportunities every time.

Still early for Pepe but he is showing great signs minus the end product. I think he has it in him but it may take a few more matches for him to really hit stride. Ceballos was terrific as was Geundouzi. I can't help but wonder what Nelson could have done with the chances Mhki had on the ball. I'm over Mhki. And don't even get me started with Xhaka. Has to be benched. Let Torriera sit deep with Guendouzi, Ceballos, and or Willock in front.

Think everyone was pretty good to very good outside of micky/Xhaka/Kolasinac, but they were so bad it gave Spurs a foothold

Kola wasn't so bad going forward, but he left a lot of room defensively. Hope Tierney can come in soon. I wish we would just go 3 at the back when Kola plays.
Luiz is so undisciplined. He has great through balls but good god he is as bad as Mustafi in terms of positioning. Chambers didn't need to be dropped for the Sokratis-Luiz pairing. Chambers needs to get back into the team.
Xhaka shouldn't start, let alone be our captain. Willock has to play over him.
Mkhi should never play. Nelson should play ahead of him.
Torreira and Guendouzi should be our double pivot. Torreira is a quick decision maker, and Guendouzi is amazing at gliding past people, and his final ball will only improve. Willock should get on ahead of Xhaka.

Kola was there a lot going forward and played some good interplay, he just never created anything remotely considering a high quality opportunity despite tons of space.
And then he blew the training ground free kick by just mistiming his run without needing to try and time it that close.
He’s fine, but the model we need to try and emulate is pool. And those outside backs are crucial. Maitlin-Niles may grow into something resembling elite, and Bellerin should be when he comes back. But Kola will never be on that level. He holds us back.
And yeah, we need to try and see Chambers or Holding with Luiz. He and Sokratis are too wild

I'd rather drop Luiz altogether, or only play him in a back 3. Sokratis and Chambers should be our duo for a little while. I really think Chambers can come good.

Given Emery's past matches against Guardiola, specifically from his Valencia days, he might use two LB's to counter the wide threat from Guardiola's teams. I do hope we see Tierney sooner rather than later though.
