Beautiful build up and then finish by Martinelli.

Yes it was. Martinelli opens his Arsenal account!!!

Tierney looks really good so far. Beating defenders and putting in nice crosses.
Emery has to see Chambers putting in consistantly solid performances no matter the position. How long before Emery gives Chambers a shot as a starting CB? Sokratis and Luiz together is pure nonstop panic defending.
Loving me some Kieran Tierney.
He's back!!! Holding with the arm band and a goal.

We are a different team now.

I need that Bellerin/Chambers/Holding/Tierney back four in my life.

No doubt and play Torreira where he should be playing, like tonight.

Chambers balls out wherever you put him. Sick left foot cross for an assist.

Haven't been able to watch this afternoon, anyone have any insight into Smith-Rowe being taken off in the first half on a stretcher?

Lots of guys in this team should be starting.
Chambers has earned it. Play him at rb if you need to. It's clear he knows how to actually defend.
Torreira had some misplaced passes but he's quick. There were some loose balls he got to that xhaka would have no chance.
I think ozil is still a good player. He's just so cool on the ball.
Our spacing looked better with willock and torreira because they can run.
Yeah Nottingham, but we won 5-0. Spurs lost to a 3rd tier team.

Pretty much. The problem with Xhaka in midfield is that he's slow as hell, which means that someone has to cover for him, which fricks up the spacing between the players going forward and coming back.

He's a good player, but Emery's reluctance to use him at all is confounding. Ozil isn't lazy defensively. He can't tackle, but he is a willing runner. Wenger's last season, he ran 10 km a match or so. Ozil actually pressed from the front really well today. Our pressing game was far better than it has been all season.

Arsenal knows their back 4 is right there, they needed to get back to match fitness, but what about the midfield? Who all would you lot put out there? I am sick and tired of Xhaka, and Kolasinac, but it seems there will be an odd man out given the #'s. Ceballos, Ozil, Guendouzi, Torreira, Pepe...

Build a back six with Bellerin-Chambers-Holding-Tierney with Torreria and Guendouzi in front of them. That should be the base with which we approach all teams. The front four can be based on who we play, who is injured, and who is in form. You can have lots of variation with a front 3 of Auba, Laca, and Pepe with Ozil or Ceballos behind them.
