just as a point of fact, arseblog doesn't report anything. they just aggregate and add thoughts. marca reported it. and others have had the same story recently. the issue does seem to be SK's wage demands. hopefully that gets sorted out.

they have archived matches 24-72 hours after the match. for preseason matches, sometimes it's sooner.

So we might get Khedira, which means that maybe we won't sell Vermaelen, as he would be the CB we use when and if Ramsey and Khedira are paired together. We still need a CB though.

i've decided we shouldn't sell TV5, until maybe the end of the window, bc he will probably have to start the first 1-5 matches. per (and the other germans won't be ready for the beginning of the season). still kinda hate kos and tv5 paired but i agree we need more mobility on the backline if we play with SK+AR in the MF.
great vid. that video shows why ozil is so good with rambo, khedira, etc. he's by far the best in the world at finding those second or third or fourth(generally midfield) runners into the box.

If someone could tell TV5 to stay back. The only time that pairing really worked was when we played Everton when Ramsey missed that beautiful chance from RvP who preceded to yell at him in the locker room.
I was surprised at how many passages involved Wilshere and Rosicky. I really think Wilshere is close to being a fantastic player. I really liked that superb one time side foot pass to Gibbs in the Fenerbache game. Rosicky always speeds up our play.
If we get Khedira we will have real solid midfield depth. It will be fantastic.

ETA: It also shows why I think we don't need to 'replace' Giroud...he's so good in the build up, and hopefully he finishes more clinically throughout the year like he did early last season. Having more options up top will take pressure off him and keep him fresh.

Khedira concerns me as far as his fitness record goes. He's barely averaged more than 20 appearances/season for Real Madrid. Although I'd take 20 from him this year, if we have the money to afford it.

Too many. There was a Wilshere video I downloaded that was taken down where it showed Giroud fluffing chance after chance. I really hope Giroud's finishing improves as he's so amazing in the build up play. His little flicks and turns and movement are pretty good, and he could be an elite striker if he just scored more. He's literally the perfect target man. Other than being real shite at finishing.

In league games but he played 40 plus games for Real each season except this past one, where he had the ACL tear. I'm not too worried about his injury record.
