Might have to get myself a Carzola kit. I think Giroud will probably get it. Unfortunately, we well be playing yet another team lacking attaching ambition next Saturday. Going to have to figure out how to break Ds like that down.

I want Arsenal to buy Dempsey. There. I said it. He can be used anywhere in the attack, and he knows how to put it in the back of the net.

I have been listening to sports talk radio from London and I swear that Gunners fans are as quick to panic as LSU fans. The Spaniard will be fantastic. The Frenchman and the German will get used to the club, and, who knows, maybe Dempsey does go from Southwest London to Northeast London and bingo our boys celebrate another third place season. At least we don't support L'pool.

Beowulf converted on 18% of his clear cut chances last season.

We didn't play terribly. Lots of promising things. We aren't rotating in midfield anymore, probably due to Cazorla's lack of defensive ability. Our D was really good. Whenever Walcott and Gervinho were direct they looked dangerous. Cazorla is superb. Gibbs was up and down the left. If we can remain healthy, I'm optimistic about the season.

Good stuff. The past few days I've been mulling over buying a subscription there so I can look at OPTA's stats. Might give it a one month trial.
And i agree. Plenty of positives to take from today.
