not sure if anyone saw it last night, but he had an absolutely brilliant goal where he just fricked with the dynamo defense and then finished. he is just an incredible talent.

just wanted to take the time to say to najar

Won't play for America. Won't play for DC for much longer.
He's a great talent, but he's not worth the effort of falling in love with.

Aren't you honduran?

I would definitely be excited about Andy if I was a fan of the Honduran national team.

He can play for a team that qualifies for every third World Cup or play for one that has a legit chance to make the final eight every World Cup. Where would you play? Honduras was so lucky to qualify due to El Prsidente Bornstein.

In our weak arse confederation, a player like Andy can get Honduras there every cycle.

I'm half. Although I grew up in US, and have only been to Honduras a few times in my life. And I'm a pasty white boy so no one would ever think I was half Honduran.

That said I want him to play for US above all else, but as a Honduran supporter as well he could absolutely change this team. During the entire Cup Honduras had absolutely no presence in the midfield. Plenty of strikers, just no one to get the ball to them. Najar would transform that unit. And I agree, he's the type of guy who could get Honduras there every 4 years. In qualifying it seems Honduras is always on the cusp of getting there, only to fail at the very end.

I'm not afraid of brown people, dude. I don't care what you look like as long as you're a yank at heart.

Also, there's nothing wrong with rooting for your country of origin. Unless, like myself, that country of origin is fricking france.

He scored the match winner against DC to ensure that, at least for now, the Dynamo aren't the worst team in MLS.
