Honestly would be kind of cool playing Saudi Arabia for a WC spot.

There's 1 game left in AFC qualifying. South Korea, Syria, Uzbekistan, and China are in contention to finish 3rd in group A. Saudi Arabia, Australia, and UAE are in contention to finish 3rd in group B.
South Korea has 14 points, +1 GD and plays @Uzbekistan.
Syria has 12 points, +1 GD and plays @Iran
Uzbekistan has 12 points, -1 GD and hosts South Korea.
China has 9 points, -3 GD and plays @Qatar.
Saudi Arabia has 16 points, +6 GD and hosts Japan.
Australia has 16 points, +4 GD and hosts Thailand.
UAE has 13 points, -2 GD, and plays @Iraq.
I predict South Korea to finish 2nd and Syria to finish 3rd in Group A.

I was just thinking that. Holy shite, can you imagine the security concerns if we have to play there? That alone should be incentive for our guys to take care of business.
Even Saudi Arabia wouldn't be a great situation, but Syria would be madness.
