A suggestion for the new US jersey (Re: Howard)

from Reddit (no surprise). I thought the idea was actually quite clever.
Also, is that Magnum or Blue Steel from Cameron?

It'd be awfully ugly for a GK kit. However, it would be worth it just for the pregame pics.

I would call it tame based on historical goalkeeping shirt standards.

I support this. Make Howard's kit the same shade of blue as their shorts and it's perfect.

When I was in Germany I saw a guy wearing a blue US sash jersey with the number 1... and Howard written on the back. It made me facepalm. (it was not a keeper jersey)

They could take it a step further and put 50 stars visible on the front of Howard's jersey and have fewer hoop stripes so that it appears to be 13 when they are pictured together.

Maybe his name was Howard and it was just a personalized jersey.
