I was under the impression contracts were paid out per league week. I could be wrong. This is how it works in FM and everything else on there is realistic so I assumed salary would be the same.

If that is how it's done in FM, you are correct. Those frickers are spot on (I change it to yearly salary when playing). Signing looks even better and it was already a great purchase.
