Because he's going to have to play it for the next month and a half? I don't know. Barco has had issues with being too indecisive around the 18, so maybe he thinks Barco has fewer options on the wing, so he can make decisions quicker? Maybe because of Pity's lack of desire to play defense, it leaves the LB with too much room to cover? Personally, I'm of the opinion that Pity should be on the bench, but I can see the pressure to try and give the new $15m+ player every chance to prove himself.

We did give Barco 15 straight starts last season before realizing we were better off with him on the bench. He then played all of 17 minutes in the playoffs.

pville I read an article that Wild was about to get his green card and that would open an International slot with Bello's injury and Shea's ineffectiveness is their any talk of bringing in someone else to play LB?

I think we could probably make a fairly cheap trade for a domestic LB. He doesn't have to be great, just cover until Bello returns.

But there are two international LBs with ATLUTD 2 that we could call up (Hernandez and Benitez).

So I went to the last Atlanta 2 game, I'm a Nashville SC fan, and man you had some people there that were count. First we had a players mom (the mom of the guy that scored the own goal) get mad at our supporters section. Then we had some chick come near us during the last 15 minuets cursing and giving us the finger. Jesus Christ this is a 2 team relax.

I'm told Justin Meram is on the move, hearing #Crew96 is working on a deal to send him to Atlanta United #UniteAndConquer . No word on the price. Meram would give Atlanta some midfield depth while Ezequiel Barco is at the Under-20 World Cup, and beyond. #MLS
