Ref was awful and have to say, in fairness, botched the VAR that led to the first penalty. Hate to see the review system used that way. It worked exactly as designed on McCann.

Just need to get this team healthy and avoid these stretches of awful passing. A better team would have made us pay dearly.

Thanks for the job you do providing info in this thread.

You do such a good job, I can even forgive your obsession and stalking of all the CBs.

I love how we're completely trusting the kids on the AUFC2 team. If you are on the U17/18/etc. team and you are showing out, you will get rewarded with a chance to play for the USL team. Had to pull Robinson up to the Sr. squad, so we started 16/17 year old Edwards for AUFC2. I think we started 4 teenagers today (Bello, Kunga, Goslin, Edwards), subbed on a 5th (Carranza), and Samuel is 20. Penn barely played anyone younger than 25.

Game was a lot of fun. I watched the game again yesterday and they didn't show the same replay that we had in the stadium. It looked like a pretty clear trip in the box that we looked at, but the angle was head on with miggy and not from behind like they showed on TV. That said...the ref was absolutely atrocious all game long, but we still had a hell of a lot of fun. It was my girlfriend's first experience and I told her she's stuck going to games with me now since she's 1-0 and we scored 5 goals.

Tailgating in the gulch was pretty fun too. Joined up with the terminus legion tailgate. $10 per ticket for all you can drink, that was a hell of a deal and the taco truck that was there was pretty legit too.

All in all it was a hell of a fun time.

damn, Guzan fricked him up. That play looked absolutely brutal though, so I'm glad they're taking their time with him.

Atlanta United's star striker Josef Martinez suffered an apparent arm injury in training on Wednesday.

The MLS club told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that it was too early to tell the extent of the problem, after the newspaper reported Martinez collided with a teammate near the end of the practice session.

Tata on Barco: “He’s looked good. We’re deciding whether he’s able to start on Sunday or if he’ll come off the bench.”

Tata on Josef: “He has some pain in a couple of his fingers, and if it’s still painful on Sunday, we’re just going to have to cut off his fingers and he’ll play anyway.”
