Bayer Leverkusen have told goalkeeper Bernd Leno can leave the club, but only if the terms are right for them, after the player was linked with a move to Serie A runners-up Napoli.

"Leno can leave but only on our terms," Leverkusen's sporting director Rudi Voller told Bild.

"We are still in constant and open exchange with Bernd and his manager. Leno already had a concrete offer from Napoli in 2017, but we didn't have an equivalent backup at the time.

"He had to stay and he did really well last season, but we thought Bernd's desire to leave would resurface so and so with the arrival of Lukas Hradecky we have a high quality successor."

Reports suggest Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristante’s move to Roma is done, but it may have to wait until after July 1.

The Orobici activated their option to sign the 23-year-old outright from Benfica, but it was immediately thought he’d be sold on.

In recent weeks the Giallorossi have emerged as favourites for his signature, and Sky Italia is now reporting that a deal is basically done.

Atalanta have accepted a bid of around €30m, and all that remains to be discussed is the formula of the payment.

It’s likely the Lupi will take Cristante on a €5m loan for a season, with an obligation to buy for €25m.

I need Jorginho/Mahrez, at least one wrapped up this week.

Getting anxious that we’ll strike out and pull a Chelsea.

Fredericks was going to be out of contract and Cyrus Christie is ready to step up for the promotion push. Good for him for getting paid more money. We'll see WHU in the Ship in a year.

Sky Sports News understands West Brom defender Jonny Evans has agreed to join Leicester after they met his relegation release clause.

The fee of £3.5m is to be paid in two installments.
Here's a quote about Evans from the January transfer window.

Albion had valued Evans at £30m in the last window and it would have taken a bid of over £20million to even bring them to the table this time.
Gotta love relegation clauses.
