There are rumors the buyout doesn’t expire tomorrow like one reporter said.

I guess we’ll see tomorrow though lol.

We'll take Curtois. Petr cech can barely even bend his knees at this point.

TBH Chelsea will probably take 8 + Elneny because our club is incompetently run.

Sarri's 8 million buyout expires but -- like a buyout on a player -- once it applies it's just up to Napoli to accept whatever price they set.

Napoli's owner, De Laurentiis, isn't likely to just waive it completely. He doubled down a couple of days ago saying that Sarri's agent negotiated for the buyout himself in exchange for a higher salary and waiting it would be "cheating Napoli's fans".

That said, Chelsea may be better put to go after a manager that doesn't need at least a season long "adjustment" period Sarri would likely take -- not to mention the roster changes he'd likely want (or cause).

I think he's a genius but not really type who would just come in and be that likely get results immediately.

Maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't seem Chelsea's management has been prone too patient with long term "project building" coaches. Maybe that's changing?

BREAKING: @ChelseaFC are likely to sell Thibault Courtois and are considering entering the race for Roma talent Alisson, according to Sky in Italy. #SSN

The more the merrier!

In a non-FFP world, I'd love Roma to keep Alisson but a GK that commands a €90m fee or else will need to be the highest paid player on the roster makes me think Roma will be better off with the €90m in Monchi's checkbook.

Alisson would be ideal if Chelsea get Sarri. He may not be quite the unparalleled shot stopped Oblak is but he's like an added another midfielder with his feet.

Imagine that's why Klopp would be interested as well. Alisson's the much better fit for Klopp/Sarri since his style is more Nueur sweeper/passer from back.

If I had to guess, I'd say he ends up at Real.

Navas is a great GK.

Maybe I'm missing precisely what you guys are referring to but simply being world class hasn't often stopped Real Madrid from seeking an upgrade.
