Carl Jenkinson loaned to Sunderland
Not near a given. Apparently we've offered 1.5 or 2M for the year. Some rumors that it may be subtracted from a permanent move. Dick has a very clear plan unlike the previous clown show, and he wants it to start with the full backs. Wish Jozy would've been under his regime unlike the previous shite show.

Yeah, it was reported done earlier but now Southampton is getting involved.

Jenko is very good. Fantastic athlete. Just third choice at the moment behind Bellerin and Debuchy. Numbers game.
And LOL at Jose and the rumors he wants the Ox for any Cech to Arsenal move.

Various reports about City inquiring about acquiring Isco from RM. He did play for Pellegrini once (made it to CL semis).

Being reported that Inter have agreed to a deal with Atletico defender Miranda.

Which was to much and we got laughed at for it. If he becomes our LB for the next ten years it will be fine.

Comparing the two is apples to oranges. One is nothing but drama who played like dog shite. Sterling isn't worth 10 to 20 million more better than Shaw in terms of quality but that's his price tag. Attacking players will always have a higher price tag. Unless its City paying 34 + million for Mangala .

Well he has been valued at 50+ million right now, so Liverpool are going to make you pay up.

Micah Richards to Aston Villa
Posted on 6/17/15 at 12:03 pm to jturn17
Seems City would be much better off to just get "homegrown" squad players and spend the bulk of that money elsewhere, like on foreign midfielders.

Micah Richards to Villa official. Announced by both AV and City. He's been at City since 2001 and was/is loved by City fans.
Turns 27 next week. Hope he stays healthy and does well.

He was a great servant to the club but got phased out once the big money players came in.

Zabaleta cost £6.45 million.
Micah actually started the majority of the games when they first won the title in '11-'12. He got replaced by PZ and then could never really get his place back under Mancini. Pellegrini never even consdidered him an option.

Very true.

I don't know if I would use the word "servant" since he got paid a huge wage to get phased out by being continually injured and Zabaleta being twice as good at likely a cheaper price.
For the all the talk about City desperately needing "homegrown players" - - - do they really need too many aside from just putting a couple of decent younger guys in the cup rotation?
They have Joe Hart . . . Doesn't Chelsea just have one more who actually plays? Unless they have some that count as homegrown because they were bought when they were 19 or 20. . . .

Do they have any decent younger guys? Their academy sucks.

Liverpool better accept immediately, because Real and Barca won't spend that much on a young Englishman.
paying 20-30mil for young talented englishmen, is kind of what the market has been set at. And when the rules are put in place 100% about fielding more Englishmen, u might see costs get even higher.
Good for those that can develop the talent, bad for those who end up having to buy it.
