LIVERPOOL REACH KOVACIC DEAL

Liverpool have reached an agreement with Inter Milan over the deal to bring Mateo Kovacic to Anfield, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Reports suggest Brendan Rodgers will pay €23m for the Croatia international.

Kovacic has all the tools to be a full fledged star.

However, I'd also warn that he's a bit like Lamela or Coutinho when they moved: often showing elite world class talent but yet to fully put it all together on a consistent basis.

he reminds me of zaha from about three years ago, not as skilled but a little more mature.

It's a lot of money but seems they have it to spend now and and EPL side was likely going to pay more than that if Doyen didn't steer him to Milanello..

Seems Kondogbia may be their next big buy which is why I was saying a while ago that I didn't think there were interested in Obiang.

Everyone hide your Doyen represented players.. . and Ibra.

He's done very well in Serie B but plays more role Nainggolan and Strootman play for Roma so there's not much space.

He went to Palermo but Roma put in the obligatory buy back option.

Celtic have put a bid in for Anya. Also sounds like Celtic are in talks with the agent of Bosnia's Eran Zahavi.

MANCINI EYES CHICHARITO

Inter Milan are preparing to launch a move to sign Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to Gazetta dello Sport.

The Mexican player is set to return to Old Trafford after Real Madrid chose not to extend his season-long loan at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Manager Roberto Mancini has highlighted Chicharito as a potential summer target and the Nerazzurri are thought to be ready to open negotiations with the 27-year-old this week.

CITY’S £150M SPENDING SPREE

Manchester City will kick-start a mammoth summer spending spree by tabling an improved deal for Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling in the next 48 hours, reports the Daily Mirror.

Once submitted, City will turn their attention to securing the services of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, Wolfsburg playmaker Kevin de Bruyne and Marseille’s Giannelli Imbula as Manuel Pellegrini’s side look to bolster their squad with £150m worth of talent.

Having finished last season without a trophy, City’s hierarchy have promised to sign “high-quality players” capable of taking City “to the next level”, and they have signalled their intent by targeting three of Europe’s youngest and most-coveted talents.

Pogba , KDB and Sterling will cost 150 million alone

150 on three fricking players

UNITED TARGET RAMOS

A remarkable story now making the back page of the Daily Star, and they report Manchester United are ready to make a move for Real Madrid stalwart Sergio Ramos.

Ramos, 29, has two years left on his current deal but discussions with the club have reportedly broken down over his wage demands.

The Spaniard is believed to want £10million-a-year in wages but Real are unwilling to meet his demands, leaving the door open for United to bolster their defensive options with a summer move for the Spaniard.

quote:

Manchester United will have to meet Jan Oblak's £32.5million release clause if they want to prise the goalkeeper away from Atletico Madrid, reports AS.

Reports from Spain on Saturday suggested United want to sign the Slovenia international to replace David de Gea, who is widely expected to join Real Madrid this summer.

However, the Premier League giants will find it extremely difficult to land Oblak as Atleti coach Diego Simeone considers him to be an indispensable player at the Vicente Calderon.

Oblak, along with midfielder Koke and forward Antoine Griezmann, is regarded as one of Simeone's 'untouchable' players and Atleti are unwilling to negotiate his departure.

United, therefore, would have to fork out in excess of £30m to bring him to Old Trafford this summer.

quote:

A contrasting line regarding the goalkeeping situation at Old Trafford now, and the Sunday Mirror reports Manchester United will step up their pursuit of Ajax and Holland stopper Jasper Cillessen as they seek to replace David de Gea.

United’s goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek has highlighted the 26-year-old as the ideal replacement for De Gea, who all-but confirmed this week he would not be signing a new contract.

Hoek played a big part in convincing United manager Louis van Gaal to hand Cillessen his international debut in 2013, and this connection could see the pair reunited in at the Theatre of Dreams this summer.
