My boy Alejandro Dominguez used to play for River around that time.

Thank you for your service, Chori.

Back before the internets tracked every single transfer, around 2004, chori disappeared from the squad and I always wondered where he went, then i found out he was in russia. Osmar Ferreyra and my other river plate mancrush Fernando Cavenaghi too

Thank you for your service

he was back at river last year. i wish he was still there. with him and d'alessandro and possibly demichelis next year it would be like 2003 again. we just peligrini to come home.

Alex Teixeira has insisted that Liverpool never made him a concrete offer to move to the Barclays Premier League after sealing his £40million transfer to the Chinese Super League.
The Shakhtar Donetsk forward, 26, signed for Jiangsu Suning on Friday after missing out on the move to Anfield and has accused Liverpool of not following through with their interest

I guess I didn't realize Teixeira also went to China.

Can't wait for the China > MLS takes to come in, A-League style.

These China clubs are state owned so their pockets are going to be super deep.

Yep. And with the big signings coming there, I wonder if FIFA will add that league to their games soon.

They already have the national team on there, despite the fact they're dreadful.

The advantage that MLS will always have over the Chinese premier league is that MLS is located in USA/Canada. Apparently those guys don't care for China all that much. You think they would realize this before signing to play there, but those dolla bills talk, yo.

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? You've got impressive knowledge of all things soccer from the Championship to Argentina to the J-League. I can't keep up with all of it, the prem and MLS are already a lot as is (but if I had the choice I would probably get more into Bundesliga and League 1).

i just used to watch fox sports world (before it became fox soccer) they showed so many different leagues back then (epl, mls, scotland, bundesliga, ligue 1, serie a, argentina, brazil, J league, all the cups and the champions league on espn2)

got into the champions league around 2000 and watched euro 2000 and 2004 on the mexican channels ( i lived in texas)

basically played/owned every fifa since the 98 world cup.

i mainly just pay attention to leeds ( ) and everton these days and that's enough to occupy my attention.

Zinedine Zidane quashed a €45M Isco move to Arsenal, according to English press.

Arsenal are in the pole position, should Isco want to move in the summer, as RM has granted Arsenal first right of refusal (should someone outbid them, they can match, and RM would transact with Arsenal).

All the English press I've read are citing reports from Italy. So I'm a little skeptical.
