Likely to have a very tough draw. I think our style could give some teams trouble, but the group stage will likely be a tough test

ManU actively need bodies (at least in CB. you still technically have CMs you could play and LBs). they signed an attacking LB that can't really defend and one CM. wooooooo. everyone knows Pool need to upgrade. let's not act like there's isn't a month plus left in the window. ManU has as many pressing needs as pool so continually mocking them gets old.

I'm just sick of SCH saying the same shite over and over trolling 'pool and city fans. ffs we've heard it all already. I enjoy literally every other post he makes.

Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Remy Cabella from Montpellier on a six-year contract.

The 24-year-old, who has been in the Magpies' sights since they tried to sign him as a replacement for Yohan Cabaye in January, becomes Alan Pardew's fourth summer acquisition after Siem de Jong, Jack Colback and Ayoze Perez.

The France international jetted into Tyneside from his post-World Cup finals holiday in Corsica on Sunday, 48 hours after Montpellier president Louis Nicollin had revealed that a deal was all but done.

I know Tottenham have like 60 attacking midfielders, but why would they want to get rid of Gylfi?

Theres a rumour of Delph to West Ham for £5million. Fair to say I wont go to VP once next season if that happens.

Other rumours involving Villa.
In the race to sign FA Esteban Cambiasso.
Looking at Ki from Swansea.

Saw a pic of Markovic in front of Anfield today after his medical. Can't link because of my phone, but:

Couple of Spanish papers reporting Khedira to Arsenal as done for 29 million Euros and 10m Euros a week wages after tax. Transfer fee seems about right but I have a hard time believing we'd make Khedira a top 10 player in the world in terms of salary. Who knows though, could mean someone is on their way out

we're high rollers now!

I've read 23m. not sure if pounds or euros. high, considering he's out of contract but can't be disappointed adding someone of his caliber.

Yea I mean a week. Like I said I still struggle to believe it but he is 27 and in his prime so maybe Arsenal is figuring it'll just be one contract, no extensions or anything

That would make his salary 520m a year

There's no way that's right

I've no doubt we can, but that's about 60k/wk more than özil and Sanchez. AW has always been for equitable salaries in the team. can't imagine he'd go *that* high for sami
