We´re obviously forgetting Ángel DiMaría, who probably is already negotiated to bring down the Falcao cost. Again, it´s all about Falcao´s clean bill of health going forward.
James Rodríguez is a better fit in this Ancelotti side than Isco, for sure.

Who I also think is better than Bale... Well, if nothing else, more versatile...
I know some RM fans can be down on him, and prob for good reason... I've always liked him a lot

Isco? He is absolutely loved by RM faithful. This would also be another problem. Were he to be sold, it would be 10x worse than the Özil backlash.....
ETA I´m glomming our conversations on two threads together. DiMaría is very, very valued, moreso by Ancelotti than the RM faithful. He´s been amazing, but he still has those ´lagoons´ (which made Özil expendable, as well).

Like it or not, no DiMaría, no CL trophy. For sure.

di Maria isn't my favorite player in the world, but his flexibility under Ancelotti makes him insanely difficult to value
He's much more consistent playing deeper, too

What do you guys make of the Raheem Sterling rumors? Sounds like a bunch of BS to me...
Edit: I should have not taken that 4 hr nap at 6pm, it's going to be a long night

What rumors are there about Sterling? BTW, how old is he?

That RM may be interested... 19

Carambola time, for sure. Given the recent CL win, and Ancelotti looking to be somewhat cemented, he´s of serious interest. Given his age, for sure.

I don't follow RM transfer gossip, so I can't speak to the legitimacy of the rumor, but I could see it. However, players would have to move prior to the signing to make it remotely sensible

Then again, RM´s already got Jesé. Sterling would have to play for RM Castilla (which I doubt he´d want to do).
Posted on 6/29/14 at 12:13 am to Dandy Lion
Yeah, I couldn't see him doing that when he could start for us in EPL and UCL... If he keeps progressing, I'm sure there will be plenty of time in the future for you guys to come back for him...
Jese... I like his game and his confidence for being so young...

He may be the first Englishman of the current PSG regime, in the future.

He wouldn't play for Castilla
He'd be suitable depth if Morata gets shipped out along with players who shouldn't be playing a secondary role. There are really no attacking players from Castilla with any kind of first team experience who can step in along the front line.

My comment was intended to say, if he wanted to play.
He wouldn´t play any semblance of significant minutes with the first team.
ETA I think somebody may buy Casemiro. For more than RM paid, of course, and he will flourish. A premonition.

The Corriere dello Sport is claiming that Manchester United will sign Netherlands defender Stefan de Vrij from Feyenoord for £8million once the World Cup is concluded. The Italian newspaper says the 22-year-old centre-back was considering a switch to Lazio, but the lure of working with Louis van Gaal again will now take him to Old Trafford instead

Real Madrid are preparing a raid on Liverpool for Raheem Sterling.
The Spanish giants have identified the teenage England winger as a future world star, but were planning to wait until next summer before making a move.
Sunday Mirror Sport understands, however, that the European champions are so concerned about the tendonitis knee problem that plagued Cristiano Ronaldo’s World Cup that they want to seal a deal for Sterling now.
The 19-year-old capped a sensational season with Liverpool by being one of England’s few outstanding players in Brazil.
He played in all three games for England as Roy Hodgson’s men bowed out at the group stages with just a single point.
But Sterling’s outstanding contribution against Italy has prompted Madrid to believe he is ready to handle a switch to the Bernabeu.
Madrid are ready to offer £25million-plus - despite still maintaining a strong interest in £70million-rated Liverpool bad boy Luis Suarez.
Daily Mirror so who knows if its legit

So report has that James would prefer Real Madrid over Barça but it was a "interview" with goal.com so I don't know if this is true either
