This would be my lineup for tomorrow's match:

------------Silvestri------------

Byram--Belluschi--Cooper--Warnock

Ajose--Austin---Bianchi-Benedicic

--------Sharp-----Antenucci-----

Subs:
S. Taylor
J. Pearce
C. Taylor
L. Cook (I'd start him, but I think he needs to be eased in)
M. Tonge
D. Poleon
M. Smith

I also would like to start Benedicic, even if he doesn't play the full 90' I think a run out may be what his fitness needs, and we could use his pace and left foot with ady white out and doukara hurt.

This is what I think The Hock will do:

-----------Silvestri-------------

Byram--Belluschi-Pearce--Warnock

----------Austin----------------

----Bianchi-------Murphy--------

---------Tonge------------------

----Sharp-------Antenucci-------

Subs:
S. Taylor
L. Cooper
C. Taylor
L. Cook
A. Mowatt
D. Poleon
N. Ajose

And if he does this diamond shite again, he is fricking mental.

So... he played the diamond...

I'm done with Hockaday... he is clueless.

After Belluschi red, he subs out Sharp... for a defender down 2-1... 20 min. later he subs off a midfielder for a striker...

He truely is clueless...

I'll take Karl Robinson or Lee Johnson

Phil Hay reporting multiple sources that say Hock will be sacked Monday...

We need a proper manager...

Hock came out and said he was getting more out of the players then anyone else could...

Said he needs up to 4 more players with Championship experience... You didn't think to talk to Cellino about that early on as this is one of the toughest lower leagues in football...

Just go back and listen to the presser... I know he has to try and exude confidence... but he seems like a brash prick...

the funny thing is wtf was cellino expecting? i think dolan was his first choice but even that would've been a risky move.

there is enough talent (if it gels mind you) to easily compete for mid table or better with a shot at the playoffs, and while a coach is as good as his players, players still need a coach that can coach.

some players are leaving this week, wonder who. hopefully adryan deal gets done.

Think Norris and Hunt are definitely on their way out.

Think Morison should be, highest wages and he is no more than a squad player. Just makes sense, although i think he is good for 6-10 goals if he stays.

I think Thompson, Mowatt, and Dawson will get loaned out.

As far as Hock, now that I have cooled down a bit, I don't think he should be sacked. I don't agree with his formations and I don't agree with his player selection. I think he is tactically inept but at the same time, we can't expect Simeone or Mourinho to do much better in the time he has been here.

The fact is, no one is going to want to "coach" for Cellino. Most want to manage, so unless we are grabbing some up and comer from Conference Premier or League 2, I really can't see anyone taking the position, that has the requisite experience and CV.

On the players front... we knew Bellusci was capable of dumb tackles and being sent off... his record in Serie A and B showed us that. But all in all, once the center halves gel with Silvestre, I think we will have one of the better Defenses in the Championship.

Our Midfield leave A LOT to be desired. I think Murphy is out of his depth. I think Austin is a good role player, but not an every weekend player. And I think Tonge is best off the bench. Bianchi is still a mystery to me... I think we need a midfield captain though. When watching Boro, I noticed Grant Leadbitter was strong in the tackle, had great vision and passing skills... and I said that is what we need. I don't think Adryan or Sloth are that, and although I'm excited, I think we need that midfield general.

We do need a winger, and while I think Ajose can possibly morph into this type of player, I still think we need to find our own version of Bakary Sako. I love the way he plays... he can our and out wing, whipping crosses in... or he can cut inside and shoot or send that killer ball to the striker.

These two signings, if we found the right players could be the key to this season.'

As far as strikers, we have plenty and I think Antenucci was unnecessary, but anyway...

If Hock is still here for Bradford... I think I'd like to see him play just a simple, organized 4-4-2.

Give me Berardi Cooper Pearce and Warnock on the line. Ajose Bianchi Austin Poleon from right to left. And Sharp paired with Smith up top.

We need to slow build from the back and either try and exploit the middle with Bianchi's creativity or knock it out wide and whip crosses in to Smith for heads on goal or flick ons to Sharp.

I really believe this would work... Our bench could be Stewy, Wootton, C. Taylor, Murphy, Cook, Benedicic and Antenucci.

Figured this would be the outcome.

Still think Hock will be gone sooner, rather then later.

i think austin is just a bad fit in a "passing, possession" style, not that we are any fricking good in attempting to play that way

he could still be a guy you bring on around 75 minutes to put the icing on the cake and put in some crunching, ball-winning tackles

tonge is serviceable, and has the set piece intangibles but we relaly need a CM upgrade over him and/or austin

really feel like mowatt is on the brink of being special, just needs to get fit and get a run in the side. (edit- just seen a link saying stoke are interested in him for 1.5 mil...lol)

still don't know what to make of murphy, i think he can be good but we need him on the ball more, then its up to him to do something with it. bianchi needs to play more centrally. again, frick the fricking diamond.

ajose looks like a decent little player, just need another complement on the other side.

tl, dr

frick the diamond, quit buying strikers, get a couple CMs

i would definitely give hock the bolton game. after that its an intl break, maybe enough time to find a manag..er...coach who can work for cellino

shaun derry?

Got lucky to win today, but Silvestri and Bellusci were fricking top drawer.

Sloth and Cook were excellent as well.

Hard to see where Adryan will fit in, but I'm sure he slots in wide automatically.
