Man everyone is really jumping on the chance to blow Atletico while they can.

The players listed kind of deserve it. They looked dead in the water for a while

Gabi over Yaya?
Two defenders from a team that doesn't have to defend?

They were pretty clearly ahead of every other team in Europe, just in terms of form, for a majority of the season. Everyone on that squad played out of their minds this year

Yeah, they succumbed to Real Madrid in both knockout tournaments, one they just kind of mailed in. They outlasted everyone in a competition they really had no business competing in. They have a lot of players who might go for more than they are worth, but they were, by far, the best put together team I (and pretty much everyone else) watched this season. If Sergio doesn't engage striker mode for the last few games of the season, they do the double

"Clearly ahead" yet they won La Liga on the last day vs. one of the worst Barca teams in a decade and lost the CL Final?
They had a fantastic year but they, and their players, are being vastly overrated. That all La Liga XI Dandy posted a couple of weeks ago had like 7 guys from Atleti on it. With that kind of dominance they should have won the league by 10+ points.
